Why Is He Famous?

He is famous because he was the first person who make a puppet-animated film.

Being a trained biologist, he begun to make animation with embalsamated insects with  educational purposes, but soon he realized the possibilities of its way to become one of the undisputed masters of stop motion later in his life.
